Our Mediterranean menu at the Old Port

Au Bout Du Quai's menu evolves with the seasons and catches from our local fishermen. Every dish is homemade from fresh, seasonal produce. Our starters showcase Mediterranean flavours: fish tartare, ceviche, fish soup, artisanal charcuterie. Our mains feature fresh fish, sea bass, sea bream, red mullet, grilled or in sauce, as well as carefully selected meats.

Our homemade desserts change regularly with the chef's inspiration and seasonal produce. The menu evolves throughout the year: feel free to contact us for the current suggestions or come and discover our specialties on site, facing Marseille's Old Port.

Frequently asked questions about the menu

What fish dishes are on the menu?

The menu showcases fish from local fishermen: fish bouillabaisse of the day, meagre fillet, red tuna steak, rock octopus tentacles, along with briny starters such as Gillardeau oysters, royal sea bream ceviche or red tuna sashimi. Available cuts change with the daily catch.

Do you serve bouillabaisse on the menu?

Yes. The fish bouillabaisse of the day is one of our signature dishes, served with saffron potatoes, rouille and croutons. As it depends on the catch, it is prepared from the fish landed that day.

Are there options for vegetarians?

The menu includes several starters without fish or meat, such as the Puglia burrata with roasted tomato cream or our Marseille panisses with aioli. The chef is happy to adapt certain plates: just let us know when you book.

What are the opening hours for lunch and dinner?

The restaurant serves lunch and dinner on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. On Sunday, only lunch is served. It is closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. To check availability for your date, call 04 91 99 53 36.

How do I book a table?

Booking is done online in a few clicks or by phone on 04 91 99 53 36. It is strongly recommended at weekends and in season, as the Old Port is very busy at both lunch and dinner.

What is the wine and drinks list?

The list offers a selection of white, rose, red wines and champagnes, mostly from Provence and the Mediterranean, as well as cocktails, aperitifs and digestifs. Some dishes come with a wine pairing suggestion right on the menu.

Does the menu change with the seasons?

Yes. The menu evolves with the seasons and the catches from our local fishermen, and every dish is homemade from fresh produce. Some items are therefore available one day and not the next, depending on the catch.
